This blog is the brain child of an overworked and underpaid grad student craving a life of more adventure. Inspired by an Instagram post featuring a forest/mountain view out of the back of a renovated van, I came up with the crazy stupid idea to reduce my junk and move into a van to tour the country, write, and take photos. I stumbled across minimalism and have spent the last several months getting rid of excess stuff and discovering what I value in life.
While the #vanlife isn’t in my near future, I’m finding more and more adventure in my life through photography and this blog.
I’m currently writing I’ve just finished my first novel as a pre-NaNoWriMo challenge and plan to do it again in a few short months. Update – I finished that one too, and another which I am working on getting feedback! Now I’m working on book four.
FYI, I have zero background in writing or creative endeavors but I’m having the time of my life with this whole thing.
I am entering my fifth year post graduation. I have a BS in IT Management from Notre Dame followed by a Master’s in Information Systems and will complete my MBA in the spring of 2019. I played softball in college and then professionally for three years. I live life as a minimally social cat lady and love every minute of it.
